John’s house is a modernized cottage with that up north cabin feel. Newly renovated, the upstairs offers a beautiful master bedroom. The entire house has central air and like the others, beautiful views of the lake. There is a fire pit, lakeside deck, private dock and beach side patio.

Is there a grill?

There is! All houses have both a charcoal and gas grill available.

Is there a minimum stay?

One week in summer. Off-season varies. Check availability on VRBO through the “Reserve Now” link.

Can we rent a boat for our stay?

Yes! We have a pontoon exclusively for Shields renters. If you would like to rent the pontoon, go to the page on this site and inquire.
